Light and Shadow
These images were some of my first attempts at landscape photography. They were taken in Banff National Park during winter. It was very difficult to take pictures amidst the freezing temperature and fast winds, but I was able to capture many incredible shots. As opposed to many images of Banff during the summer, the winter of Banff does not contain much colour. This is the reason that I decided to convert these pictures to black and white. It was incredible to play with the light and contrast within these photos and I really enjoyed the editing process.
